Lion Brand Pound of Love turquoise
I used one strand of the boucle and one strand of pound of love.On the edge before binding off I added a ruffle by KFB of each stitch with just the boucle for 3 rows then bound off. On the other edge I picked up 2 stitches for each stitch and continued in the same manner.

I think one skein might be enough to make a small baby blanket based on grandmother's favorite dishcloth pattern
I have one skein leftover from the baby blanket I made earlier this year and that is what I was planing to do with it. Other than a blanket I think it might be enough for a simple hat and perhaps mittens. Even the curly purly scarf doesn't use much yarn. What ever you decide to make I'm sure it will be beautiful.

P.S. I'm never afraid to mix other types of yarn ...some times you end up with some very pretty textures. Hope this helps and is what you are looking for. :)
I plan on making the Prayer Shawl with the Lion Pound of Love and JoAnn's Boucle. Could you tell me what colors you used. The shawl if beautiful and I love the ruggled edge.

I'm not sure of the the exact color of the Joann's boucle, but it is shades of navy and turquoise, which went very well with the pound of love turquoise. I tried to find the color on the Joann website but the colors are always changing. In the future I'm going to have to be much more careful in my record keeping sorry. I have found when I buy the yarn most of the pound of love colors even if the shades are a little off they still work really well with the joann's boucle. I have made many now and love the results. I will only do the ruffles now...no more fringes for me :). Good luck. If you have any more questions please feel free to email me! Must update my 2007 gallery...oh, my I am behind :(
